DAY 1 ARRIVAL

Arrive at Kotoka International Airport Accra; after you disembark off the flight and pass through immigration and customs formalities, the team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling, your tour guide will brief you on what to expect during your stay in Ghana. There will be tailors and seamstresses at your hotel in the evening to take measurements of those who will be interested in custom made African outfit.

Today, you will discover Ghana’s capital city Accra. Explore the over 140 years old city with a drive through a blend of medieval and modern architecture which symbolizes the cultural mix of the city. We will visit:

• Center for National Culture Arts and Craft Market.

DAY 3: BATIK TIE & DYE CLASS/ COOKING CLASS

Today, you will have the opportunity to either participate in a Batik Tie and Dye fabric making class. You will be taken through the process of stamping the fabric and dying. Everyone will have the opportunity to stamp their own piece of fabric and dye it with a colour of their choice and keep it as a souvenir. Alternatively, take part in an authentic Ghanaian cooking class where you will try your hands on cooking some Ghanaian dishes.

DAY 4: AFRO FUTURE FESTIVAL DAY 1

Step out late afternoon for the Afro Future Festival. This is the best art, culture and music festival in West Africa in December.

Take this day off to rest after arriving from the new year eve party. Later in the late afternoon, you can decide to go to the beach or just chill at the hotel.

DAY 9: FINAL SHOPPING / FAREWELL DINNER

We will visit the Arts and Craft market for final shopping. You can get all kinds of souvenirs for family and friends. Later in the evening, we will have our farewell dinner and review the entire trip.
