DAY 1: ARRIVE IN CAPE TOWN
Upon your arrival, your professional guide will meet you at the arrival and transfer you to your hotel for check in. Welcome to Cape Town, The Mother City. Your guide will brief you on what to expect during your stay. Later in the evening, you will be hosted to a Welcome Dinner.
DAY 2: CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
Your day begins with an 08:00 pick-up from your hotel as we set off on one of the most breathtaking coastal drives in the world. Travel along the stunning Atlantic Seaboard, passing Green Point, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, and the glamorous Camps Bay beaches.
Our first stop is Hout Bay, where you’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride to Seal Island, home to thousands of Cape fur seals. After returning to shore, the journey continues along the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, famed as one of Africa’s most beautiful coastal routes. Expect several photo stops to capture the dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views.
We then head to the Cape Point Ostrich Farm before continuing to the spectacular Cape Point Nature Reserve and the legendary Cape of Good Hope, the southwesternmost tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
On our return journey along the Indian Ocean side, we’ll stop at Simon’s Town to visit the charming African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Lunch can be enjoyed in Simon’s Town or at one of the picturesque coastal towns we’ll pass through, such as Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St. James, or Muizenberg.
The tour concludes with a scenic drive through Constantia, before heading back to Cape Town city in the late afternoon.
DAY 3: TABLE MOUNTAIN, BO KAAP AND ROBBEN ISLAND
Embark on a full-day journey that blends Cape Town’s breathtaking natural beauty.
Your day begins with a visit to one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World – Table Mountain. Ascend in a state-of-the-art rotating cable car to the summit, where sweeping 360° views of Cape Town, Table Bay, Robben Island, and the Cape Peninsula unfold before you. Wander along the scenic walking paths, take in the crisp mountain air, and capture postcard-worthy photos from this iconic vantage point.
Bo-Kaap Cultural Experience
After descending Table Mountain, continue to the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighborhood, known for its brightly colored houses, cobblestone streets and rich Cape Malay heritage.
Robben Island Experience
In the afternoon, transfer to the V&A Waterfront to board the ferry to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held during South Africa’s struggle for freedom.
Return by ferry to the V&A Waterfront in the late afternoon/early evening. Guests have time to enjoy the harbor’s vibrant atmosphere, shops, and restaurants.
DAY 4: FREE DAY/ RELAXATION
Take this day off for personal activities or relax in your hotel.
DAY 5: CAPE TOWN – JOHANNESBURG
Catch a 2 hours flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Check in to your hotel and take the rest of the day for Leisure.
DAY 6: SOWETO & APARTHEID HISTORY TOUR
Begin your day with a scenic drive through Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city and its economic hub. Your guide will share insights into the city’s transformation from its gold-rush origins to a modern African metropolis. Pass through key landmarks, including the Johannesburg CBD, Constitutional Hill, and other historic sites, before continuing to Soweto.
Enter the vibrant township of Soweto, home to over two million people and a place deeply connected to South Africa’s freedom struggle. Experience the lively streets, bustling markets, and the unique spirit of this iconic community.
After lunch, visit the world-renowned Apartheid Museum, a moving and powerful journey through South Africa’s history. Through interactive exhibits, films, photographs, and personal accounts, trace the rise and fall of apartheid and the triumph of democracy. This is a deeply emotional but essential experience for anyone seeking to understand the country’s past and present.
Conclude the day with a reflective drive back to your hotel.
DAY 7: LESEDI CULTURAL VILLAGE EXPERIENCE
Depart Johannesburg in the morning for a scenic drive to the Lesedi Cultural Village, located in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind. Upon arrival, you are warmly welcomed with traditional African hospitality and offered a taste of locally brewed drinks.
Step into a world of diversity as you visit the five traditional homesteads representing the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho, and Ndebele peoples of South Africa. Knowledgeable guides share fascinating stories, customs, and the history of each culture. You will discover architectural styles, rituals, and ways of life that have been passed down through generations.
Gather in the central amphitheater where you’ll be treated to a vibrant performance of traditional music and dance. The rhythmic drumming, colorful costumes, and energetic dances bring the spirit of Africa to life, with audience participation encouraged.
After the cultural showcase, sit down to a generous buffet lunch or dinner featuring authentic African cuisine. Taste a wide range of local flavors, from game meats and stews to freshly baked breads and seasonal vegetables, all prepared in traditional style.
DAY 8: PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK
Set out before sunrise from Johannesburg for the Pilanesberg National Park, one of South Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. The journey takes you through the scenic countryside to the rim of an extinct volcanic crater, where the 55,000-hectare reserve is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife.
Upon arrival, embark on a guided safari drive in an open 4×4 vehicle. Your expert ranger will help track and interpret signs of wildlife activity as you explore the bushveld. Pilanesberg is a malaria-free park and one of the best places to see the “Big Five”, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and over 300 bird species.
Break for lunch at a lodge within the park, with time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before continuing your adventure.
Resume your photo safari in another section of the reserve, increasing your chances of spotting more elusive species like cheetahs, wild dogs, and brown hyenas. The changing light of the afternoon makes for spectacular wildlife photography opportunities.

DAY 9: FREE DAY IN JOHANNESBURG
After several days of exploring South Africa’s cultural, historical, and natural treasures, today is set aside as a free day at leisure. You can choose to relax at your hotel or explore the areas in and around Sandton.
Later in the evening, gather for a farewell dinner and also to review the entire trip.
DAY 10: DEPARTURE
After breakfast and depending on your flight time, check-out and be transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for your onward flight. Bid farewell to South Africa with memories of breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and unforgettable experiences.
